The shop was very accommodating with me warranting a part with O’ rileys since I had a lifetime warranty on the pump that failed. When I picked it up hours later than quoted to be completed I heard a new noise. I brought it back in right away to have them listen, during the test drive the technician heard the noise but stated he was unable to hear it during his previous test drive. He stated it sounded like the transmission or the axle. Upon pulling it in the shop he came back stating it was the serpentine belt, pulley/ tensioner, and motor mounts. After arriving back in my home town a few hours away I took it to 2 different shops which determined it was my motor mounts on the same side which I had work done which was most likely due to Honest One replacing the power steering pump which I had them do. The belt and tension/pulleys had nothing wrong with them. If the mount had been previously damaged as badly as they were Honest One would’ve noticed them. After speaking to Honest One again they are stating it was there to begin with but they weren’t going to let me know there was a further issue with my car as “I didn’t pay for that service”. Had I not recognized the issue and brought to an “honest” mechanic I would have been replacing my transmission as the added pressure on the motor. I would’ve spent another $1,000 to have all the things fixed that weren’t even the issue.
